*Cash Payment in Money Recovery Suits Can't Be Disbelieved Solely for Lack of Documentary Proof*

The Hon'ble Supreme Court has held that cash payments in money recovery suits cannot be disbelieved solely due to lack of documentary proof. The Court observed that a court cannot reduce the amount recoverable under a promissory note merely because a portion of the consideration was paid in cash and lacks documentary proof.
